275 applications received for the 5th All-Russian Competition of Symphony Orchestra Artists

The Moscow Philharmonic has finished accepting applications for participation in the 5th All-Russian Symphony Orchestra Artists Competition, which will be held from June 27 to July 2 at the Philharmonia-2 Concert Complex.

This year, the competition received 275 applications from 49 regions of Russia, 107 cities and towns. All the largest higher musical institutions of Russia are represented: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Ural, Magnitogorsk Conservatories, Ufa State Institute of Culture, Krasnoyarsk Institute of Arts, and others. Among the foreign universities there are the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the Basel Academy of Music, the higher schools of music in Cologne, Stuttgart and Lucerne.
