More than 300 applications were received for the Sixth All-Russian Competition of Symphony Orchestra Artists

The Moscow Philharmonic has finished accepting applications for participation in the VI All-Russian competition of symphony orchestra artists, which will be held from July 3 to 8 at the Philharmonic-2.

More than 300 entries were received this year. The geography of the contestants covers more than 50 regions of Russia. Many of the largest higher musical institutions are represented: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Magnitogorsk, Petrozavodsk, Saratov Conservatories, the Gnessin Academy of Music, the Ufa State Institute of Culture and others. Among the foreign universities are the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the higher schools of music in Lausanne and Geneva.
