Piotr Beczala. Concert
On April 24, the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform with the Polish tenor Piotr Beczala, one of the most sought-after singers on the world opera stage. The program includes arias from operas by Verdi, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Massenet, Giordano, as well as several orchestral works — symphonic excerpts from Louise Miller and Carmen, the Roman Carnival overture by Berlioz and Puccini's elegiac miniature Crisantemi. The conductor will be the French maestro Marc Piollet, who has performed on such stages as Opéra de Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, Bayerische Staatsoper and many others. The concert will take place at the Tchaikovsky Hall.
