Concert with Pinchas Zuckerman
On June 18, Pinchas Zuckerman, a world-renowned violinist, violist and conductor, winner of the Grammy Award and Principal Guest Maestro of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, will conduct the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra. The program opens with two works by Mozart — the famous overture to The Marriage of Figaro and the Third Violin Concerto, created by the Austrian genius at the age of 19. The second part will feature the Fourth (Italian) Symphony by Felix Mendelssohn, inspired by the composer's travels across sunny Italy. The concert will take place at the Tchaikovsky Hall.
