The acceptance of applications for the 4th All-Russian Competition for Symphony Orchestra Artists has finished

The Moscow Philharmonic has closed the acceptance of applications for the 4th All-Russian Competition for Symphony Orchestra Artists. It will take place from 28 June till 3 July in the concert complex “Philarmonia-2”.

This year 309 applications have been submitted, 175 musicians have been admitted to participate in the on-site rounds. The geographic scope of the participants encompasses 42 Russian regions, 73 cities and towns. All the leading music universities of Russia are represented, including the Conservatories of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Saratov, the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, the Schittke Moscow State Institute of Music and the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Musical Pedagogical Institute. The foreign universities include the Hamburg School of Music and the Manhattan Music School.
