Concerts with Philippe Herreweghe
On 24 and 25 September the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform for the first time with the famous Belgian conductor Philippe Herreweghe. One of the most prominent exponents of authentic baroque performance, Herreveghe also conducts music of later periods — from Mozart and Schubert to Schoenberg and Stravinsky. Under his baton the RNYSO will play Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony and Brahms’s Fourth Symphony. The concerts will take place at the “Philharmonia-2” and in the Tchaikovsky Hall.
