Lakmé. Concert performance

On May 30, at the Tchaikovsky Hall, the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will take part in a concert performance of Léo Delibes' opera Lakmé. Leading French singers — soprano Sabine Devieilhe and tenor Cyrille Dubois, as well as Hungarian bass-baritone Miklós Sebestyén will perform in the lead roles. The choral parts were entrusted to the Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing”, and the American-Irish maestro Robert Tuohy, who works on the largest opera stages in the world — from the Bolshoi Theater to the Arena di Verona, will conduct the performance.
